Matthew "Matty" Nable is a former Rugby League footballer turned actor. After playing in the Winfield Cup Premiership for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and South Sydney Rabbitohs during the 1990s, he wrote and starred in the rugby league-centered drama The Final Winter in 2007. He is a good friend and frequent collaborator of former Newcastle Five-Eighth turned actor Matthew Johns in television as well.
