Preeti Jhangiani was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She comes from a Sindhi-speaking family. She studied at Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She is fluent in Hindi and English.Preeti first appeared in a music video titled 'Chui Mui Si Tum Lagti Ho' from Rajshri Music opposite South Indian actor, Abbas. This video became a hit, and so did Preeti, as well as the Koala bear icon.
