Greta Ferro was born in Vasto in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Her father Giuseppe is an entrepreneur and owner of the pasta brand La Molisana, and her mother Gilda is a university professor. After graduating from high school in Campobasso, she moved to Milan where she attended the business school at Bocconi University.
