Big, brawny and imposing actor and stuntman Bob Minor was born on January 1st in 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama. The 6' 2" onetime champion bodybuilder (he's a former Mr. Los Angeles bodybuilding title holder) made his debut as a stuntman doubling for James Iglehart in Russ Meyer's delightfully outrageous Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970). Minor subsequently played "Barbados" in Meyer's Black Snake (1973). Minor's next significant big break was working as both an actor and stunt coordinator for Jack Hill
