Robert Rodatย (born c. 1960) is an American screenwriter and producer of film and television. He is known for writing the filmsย Saving Private Ryanย (1998), which earned himย Academy Award andย Golden Globe Awardย nominations for Best Original Screenplay;ย Fly Away Homeย (1996);ย The Patriotย (2000); andย The Catcher Was a Spy (2018). He is also the creator of the television seriesย Falling Skiesย (2011โ€“15) andย Those About to Dieย (2024).
