Allison Howell Williamsย (born April 13, 1988) is an American actress. She first became known for starring asย Marnie Michaelsย in theย HBOย comedy-dramaย seriesย Girlsย (2012โ€“2017), which earned her aย Critics’ Choice Awardย nomination. Her breakthrough came with the role of Rose Armitage in the horror filmย Get Outย (2017), which earned her nominations from theย MTV Movie Awardsย and theย Screen Actors Guild Awards, among other accolades. She starred in the horror filmsย The Perfectionย (2018) andย M3GANย (2022), the latter of which she also executive produced. For her work inย horror films, she has been deemed aย scream queenย by some in the media. Her latest on-screen appearance was in the role of Lucy Smith in Showtime’sย Peabody Award-winning miniseriesย Fellow Travelersย (2023).
