Bryce Dallas Howard
Bryce Dallas Howardย (born March 2, 1981) is an American actress and director. The eldest child of filmmakerย Ron Howard, she studied acting at theย New York University Tisch School of the Arts. While portrayingย Rosalindย in a 2003 production ofย As You Like It, Howard caught the attention of directorย M. Night Shyamalan, who cast her as a blind girl in the thriller filmย The Villageย (2004) and aย naiadย in the fantasy filmย Lady in the Water (2006).
Howard’s performance inย Kenneth Branagh’s romance filmย As You Like Itย (2006) earned her aย Golden Globe Awardย nomination. She subsequently appeared asย Gwen Stacyย inย Sam Raimi’s superhero filmย Spider-Man 3ย (2007). She went on to appear asย Kate Connorย in the action filmย Terminator Salvationย (2009) and asย Victoria in the fantasy filmย The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010). She also appeared in the drama filmย The Helpย (2011), the comedy-drama filmย 50/50 (2011), the fantasy filmย Pete’s Dragonย (2016), and the musical filmย Rocketmanย (2019). Howard gained further recognition with her role asย Claire Dearingย in the top-grossingย Jurassic Worldย trilogy (2015โ2022).
Additionally, Howard directed the documentary filmย Dads (2019) and episodes of theย Disney+ space westernย series The Mandalorian (2019โpresent) and The Book of Boba Fett (2022).
